Chester Lodge is a luxury 40 bed, purpose-built dual registered nursing/residential care home situated in the CH1 district of Chester.

We offer a quiet retreat within walking distance of Chester City centre. Locally, we have a number of shops, public houses, cafés and parks within east walking distance. The Shropshire Union Canal, Chester Railway station and various bus routes are all within easy reach.

We have been providing 24-hour professional nursing and residential care in an informal, friendly environment since 1991. The rapport between staff and residents demonstrates our experience and gives Chester Lodge an unsurpassable homely feel.

We have a large staff team of fully qualified nurses and skilled care assistants. Our 6 strong domestic team allow residents, nurses and care assistants to live and work in a clean and tidy environment which we are all very proud of. Our Activities Coordinator offers a wide-ranging programme of activities and events for residents and their families to participate in if they so wish.

All of our residents are ensured a comfortable, homely stay offered at a competitive tariff.

We also happily welcome pets to either visit or live with their owners.

At Chester Lodge we use basic video surveillance in common walkways in order to help keep our residents, visitors and staff safe.

Are there specific visiting hours?

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit Chester Lodge at any time of day. You can even join residents for meal times if you wish.

Is there a visitor car park?

We have a small car park located on Egerton Street with 6 dedicated visitor spaces available on a first-come-first-served basis. There is also a reasonably priced public car park situated across the road if you find there are no available spaces in our car park.

Are pets allowed?

Yes. Chester Lodge is pet friendly. We happily allow pets to either visit or live with their owners.
